BioProTT FlowSU System
The BioProTT™ FlowSU System is an 
innovative flow measurement solution for single-use biopharmaceutical applications. Suitable for both upstream or downstream processes, the ultrasonic flow meter consists of a reusable transmitter and a disposable flow sensor for the integration into single use tubing assemblies.
The approach of “Ready. Connect. Flow.” is driven by the ease of integration, smart connection to a host system or pump, and a reliable, highly accurate flow measurement that is low maintenance and features no obstructions within the flow path. An integrated air and bubble detection adds further safety to the overall process.
Application
In upstream processes such as buffer and media preparation or cell cultivation, the BioProTT™ FlowSU can provide feedback to a pump or dose feeding processes.
In downstream applications such as depth filtration, tangential flow filtration, in-line buffer formulation, or chromatography, the BioProTT™ FlowSU can be used to hygienically and precisely measure the flow. The flow meter can be easily integrated inline and be combined with different pump types such as the Quattroflow® Single Use Pumps. The integrated air and bubble detection adds safety to air-sensitive applications.

Performance
Fig. 1: In total 175 FlowSU 1/2" were tested with water at 21°C.
All sensors were within the defined specification without an individual calibration of each sensor.
