At ProcessHQ, clients are our most valuable asset. We recognize that building a long-term business relationship with you depends a great deal on trust. This trust begins with our commitment to respecting as well as protecting your privacy.
We collect two types of information from you:
- information you submit to us for order processing
- information our site gathers automatically.
Information You Submit
We ask you to fill in and submit our registration form to search and use our site for free to locate and research process equipment and to use our procurement system to purchase products through our site.
Our registration form uses required and non-required fields. For required fields, you must provide some basic information needed to process your order including contact information (name, company name, address, and phone number), and payment information. When registering, you also must choose a Username and a Password and enter an email address. There are non-required fields on our registration form that you may use to provide more data about yourself and your organization to help us serve you better.
If you prefer to use purchase orders instead of a credit card, you may apply for credit with ProcessHQ, Inc. When you complete and submit our Credit Application, you will be asked to disclose detailed financial information about your organization so your application can be fairly evaluated.
Information We Gather
Usage Tracking
As you browse our Web site, it collects log file, IP address, and other standard tracking data we use to evaluate site traffic and usage patterns. Such information is aggregated with tracking data from all site visitors. It's never associated with individually identifiable information that would reveal anything personal about you. We use such aggregated information to help us evaluate products and services, including new ones we make available on our Web site.
Cookies
A cookie, a bit of data sent by a Web site to your browser, enables the site to return the results the browser expects. ProcessHQ.com uses temporary, session-specific cookies to ensure visits go smoothly, especially if you are using our procurement system to place an order. These ProcessHQ.com cookies go away once your browser is closed.
In addition, ProcessHQ.com guarantees your anonymity as you shop. Our cookies neither reveal nor contain any identifying or personal data. Cookies can't read any information on your computer or interact with other cookies on your hard drive.
NOTE: Disabling cookie support will prevent this site from functioning properly and you may not be able to utilize fully all of its features and information.
Uses of Information
We use your registration information to process your order(s) or to send you email about your orders. We may also email you promotional information, but you may opt-out of receiving advertising email from our site.
If you submit financial information to apply for an account with us, we use that information to verify your credit, open an account for you, and send you invoices for your purchases. If you submit credit card information, we use that information to collect payment for your orders.
Information Sharing
ProcessHQ.com shares some of your information with third parties that may be involved in processing your order(s). For example, when you place an order through our site, we pass the order information along to our suppliers, who may pass some of it along to the carrier that will be delivering your order. Only the data needed to fulfill and ship your order is released.
If you are ordering as part of a buying group or on a company account, we may share your registration and order information with others inside your company, such as personnel responsible for remitting payment, monitoring purchases, or receiving the order when it is delivered.
ProcessHQ.com never willfully discloses any individually identifiable information about its users to third parties without a user's specific permission to do so. We do not sell users' names or email addresses to other companies to use to send unsolicited ads or junk mail. We may provide individually identifiable information to third parties in any case where it is required by law.
Any display ads shown on our site may collect user information if you click or follow their ads. We do not control any data collected voluntarily or involuntarily through these ads. Investigate the privacy policies of any advertised site if you have concerns about its collection and use of user information.
Choice/Opt-Out Options
ProcessHQ.com understands and appreciates your desire to decide whether or not you would like to receive targeted promotional information from our site. Any email we send will include instructions on how to be removed from the list. Or you may choose to not accept any promotional emails from ProcessHQ.com, by simply emailing us at support@processhq.com and request to be removed from our mailing list.
You also can decline to provide information requested through the nonrequired field on our registration submission form.
Correct/Update Options
You have the option of correcting, updating, and modifying your individually identifiable registration information (known as your User Profile) at any time and as often as you need to. The only item you can't change is the Username you select when you register. Log In and press the "Edit Account Info" button on the myPHQ page to access your profile for editing.
If you use purchase orders as your method of payment and need to correct or update financial or ProcessHQ credit information, please contact our Client Services Department at 818-341-1782 or support@processhq.com.
Delete/Deactivate Option
Currently, it is not possible for ProcessHQ.com users to permanently delete or deactivate their User Profile information from the database, as it is required for our internal records. You may, however, cancel your account with ProcessHQ.com via the "Edit Account Info" button on the myPHQ page. Cancelling your account effectively revokes your security credentials (username and password) and removes you from our mailing list.
Security and Encryption
ProcessHQ.com uses SSL encryption and a secure server throughout your visit to encrypt any information transmitted from your browser to our server and back again. This ensures any data you submit to our site, such as credit card and payment information, is transmitted securely over the Internet.

This site contains external links to other web sites, such as (but not limited to) suppliers' sites and advertisers' sites. ProcessHQ.com has no control over the content of third party sites and is not responsible for any information contained on these sites, nor is ProcessHQ.com responsible for the privacy policies of those sites and the information they may gather expressly or automatically.
